Negotiation result on a new collective agreement for private early childhood education
SuPer, JHL, OAJ and Talentia, together with the Finnish Education Employers, have today, 29 December 2025, reached a negotiation result on an entirely new collective agreement for the private early childhood education sector. The agreement still requires the approval of the governing bodies of all parties involved.

Until now, the sector has not had its own collective agreement. Instead, operations have been covered by other agreements such as the collective agreement for the private social services sector, which in terms of private early childhood education expires on 31 December 2025. Negotiations on a new collective agreement for the private early childhood education sector began on 17 September 2024.
The negotiating parties include SuPer, JHL, OAJ and Talentia, as well as the Finnish Education Employers (FEE, in Finnish Sivista) representing the employers.
The content of the negotiation result will not be disclosed or commented on publicly until the governing bodies of all the negotiating parties have reviewed it.
Private early childhood education in Finland covers around 40,000 children and employs approximately 10,000 wage earners.
