Employment contract

Sets out the terms of employment. Carefully review the employment contract before signing it.

Collective agreement

Specifies the minimum conditions that must be met in employment contracts.

Workplace shop stewards

Your primary support in issues related to your employment or workplace.

Pay

Compensation for work performed. Pay usually consists of a job-specific base salary, supplemented with various bonuses.

Working hours

Influenced by provisions of collective agreements as well as relevant labor laws. SuPer members generally work in period-based shifts.

Work schedule

The work schedule must be made available to employees at least one week before it comes into effect.

Annual holiday

Employees accrue vacation days over the course of a year, which are then taken the following summer and winter.

The employer is obligated to arrange occupational healthcare for all employees, regardless of the form or duration of their employment.
