SuPer: Strike to begin on Tuesday in the private social services sector
The strike declared by SuPer as part of Sote ry will begin on Tuesday, and the other industrial actions announced by SuPer will continue. Not all parties accepted the settlement proposal issued by the National Conciliator regarding the labour dispute in the private social services sector.

The strike begins on Tuesday 17 February 2026 at 00:01 and ends on Thursday 19 February 2026 at 23:59.
All members of Sote ry (SuPer, Tehy and Erto) working in the specified units and covered by the private social services sector collective agreement will be included in the strike.
Work carried out under the private social services sector collective agreement in these targeted units is considered subject to the strike.

The right to strike is a fundamental right based on the Finnish Constitution and on international agreements binding on Finland.
Ban on shift changes across the entire private social services sector
SuPer has declared a ban on shift changes at all workplaces covered by the collective agreement in the private social services sector starting on 29 January 2026 at 3 PM.
During the ban, SuPer members will not change shifts unless the employer agrees to pay a reasonable compensation for the shift change. The ban will remain in force until further notice.
Recruitment ban at Attendo, Esperi and Mehiläinen
SuPer has declared a recruitment ban for all workplaces of Esperi, Mehiläinen and Attendo where the collective agreement for the private social services sector (SOSTES) is applied, effective from 29 January 2026 at 3 p.m.
During the recruitment ban, SuPer members will not apply for or accept employment in the companies subject to the ban. The ban will remain in force until further notice.
