Student events
SuPer’s annual spring event offers students in both the education and guidance, as well as social and health care fields diverse lectures on professional expertise, job opportunities and working life. In Finnish.
SuPer’s Lähihoitaja online event is held every autumn. It focuses on the diverse work that practical nurses do as well as offering insights into working life. The event is open to everyone and completely free of charge. In Finnish.
Each autumn, SuPer visits social and health care colleges across Finland. The tour offers e.g. lectures on professional ethics and the rules of working life, prize draws and super‑cool SuPer giveaways.
SuPer has been involved in developing the Practical Nurse category of the Taitaja competition since its beginning in 2002, and SuPer members participate every year as judges. Spot SuPer’s stand in the event area and come say hello!

SuPer considers labour-based immigration in the social and healthcare sector necessary – adequate professional language skills must be ensured
Collaboration with vocational colleges
SuPer’s student ambassadors (SuPer-Opo) visit vocational colleges to talk about their work and SuPer as a union.
They also organise events for students and present the SuPer’s scholarships at graduation ceremonies.
